- Work for the site (and only like… half our staff members have ever received their shirts)
- Win one of our very infrequent contests (then wait a month for me to remember to mail them out)
- Donate $100 goddamn dollars to the site (one guy did this. He also got a shitty thank you email from Marlon)
Point is, some people keep asking us HOW DO I GET A SHIRT. And the current answer is “We have like five of them left, and Gesualdi has worn all of them at some point because he doesn’t do laundry.” We’re getting ready to print out another batch, but since people have asked if they can buy shirts, we kind of need an idea of how many to get printed. The hard details…
Shirts would be about $15-$18, depending on whether people want that nice fabric or the scratchy regular t-shirt material. It’s a one-color print of the logo on the front, because that’s how we roll. I don’t think we will ever reprint the orange shirts, so those are goddamn collector’s items right now. I’m partial to yellow myself (you may have seen me wearing one of the SUPER LIMITED yellows I had made). Or we could have some printed in all the colors of Magic… because white logo on a grey or red tee would look kind of sex.
Anyhow, we’re just trying to feel out the community to see if people would be interested in buying these. Let us know!
If you use something like CafePress or Zazzle, you can offer shirts, hoodies coffee mugs, mouse pads and all kind of swag without any upfront costs.
I’d rather pay the upfront costs and make some money for the site, as opposed to the buck a shirt cafepress’ll give ya.

Id buy a shirt, if you printed them in each of the magic colors and had the mana symbol of the corresponding color on the back. Oh and id only buy one if you had the mana symbol on the back cause that was my idea.

I have some experience in doing logo designs (draw,scan & photoshop mostly). I could outfit you with a sexy new T-shirt design if you are interested. I’ve taken enough knowledge from this site that it would be pro-bono, though I couldn’t give you a deadline per se (jetting out to guatemala for language school on the morrow, most of my equipment is back home).
On an unrelated tangent, anybody out there know if Quetzaltenango has a Magic scene?

I would 150% buy a t-shirt, in addition, I would also replace all of my LSV tokens with Marlon tokens in a heart beat. Because let’s face it, Marlon is a stunning image of a man and my opponents would no doubt be distracted by his mere image crowding my board that they would make so many misplays I would win every draft. Also, LSV looks kind of frumpy and Marlon, as stated before, is the poster boy for us handsome magic players.

Draftmagic.com T-shirts don’t sound all that great, handing them out as prizes sounds a lot better.
However Draftmagic/Egolf tokens, sleeves, dice and maybe even playmats sounds a lot more appealing. Stuff that directly relates to magic, and that i can use in magic seems much more buy-worthy.
